Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly capable, digitally savvy Marketing Specialist to support and collaborate closely with our Senior Marketing Manager. In this role, you will contribute to the analysis, development, and execution of data-driven marketing strategies aimed at delivering measurable revenue growth. This position offers meaningful ownership, direct mentorship, and the opportunity to make a visible impact across the organization
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to develop strategies, then execute them independently.
- Create and manage engaging content across multiple platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, newsletters, and the company blog.
- Plan, execute, and take ownership of marketing campaigns from start to finish.
- Monitor social media channels, engaging with customers and the broader community.
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights for optimization.
- Stay informed on digital trends, platform updates, and emerging tools, proactively sharing findings with the team.
- Assist in planning, promoting, and reporting on events, webinars, and product launches.
- Manage the day-to-day execution of multi-channel campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, paid advertising, public relations, video content, and product photography.
- Support go-to-market initiatives for product and campaign launches, contributing to messaging and unique value proposition development.
- Conduct market research through surveys, interviews, and customer interactions to strengthen messaging and marketing collateral.
- Manage marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and content management systems (e.g., BigCommerce).
- Audit website content and update product descriptions and visuals as needed.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- 35 years of hands-on marketing experience in a product-based, B2B environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business challenges and address customer needs effectively.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and content management systems (e.g., BigCommerce).
- Proficient across digital marketing channels, including SEO/SEM, paid social, email marketing, and analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting compelling subject lines and clear campaign briefs.
- Ability to quickly understand technical product lines and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Collaborative team player with strong motivation, sound decision-making, and a commitment to seeing projects through to completion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AI tools and mainstream marketing technologies is a strong advantage.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization
- Basic design skills (Canva, Figma, Adobe)
- B2B or eCommerce experience
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Other Duties:
Barr Inc. is a diversified family-owned business that includes B2B Commercial Refrigeration, Commercial Racking, Storage, and Luxury Apartments. While this role will focus on the Commercial Refrigeration division, this role may involve projects from the other business divisions with duties as assigned.
