About Guideline

Guideline is a global provider of ad intelligence and media plan management technology, powering the strategy, planning, and management of advertising buying and selling for the world’s leading enterprises. Our solutions deliver the industry’s most comprehensive and timely insights, enabling publishers, agencies, brands, investors, and consulting firms to optimize media performance and drive superior business outcomes.

Guideline’s proprietary spend and pricing data represents approximately $200 billion in annual media investment across 65 countries, providing the most complete and transparent view of the global advertising marketplace available today. In 2026 we are accelerating our investment in analytics and AI-powered solutions for the advertising and capital markets industries.

The Role

We’re hiring a Director of AI Demand Generation to own and scale Guideline’s digital demand generation engine. You’ll be responsible for driving qualified pipeline through paid media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, website optimization, and integrated digital campaigns. You are an Al-native operator. You don’t just use Al tools — you orchestrate them. You understand agentic frameworks, LLM orchestration, and how to automate multi-step marketing workflows end-to-end. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role that blends strategic thinking with deep channel expertise. You’ll report to the CMO and work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Revenue Operations to fuel growth across Guideline’s ad intelligence and analytics product suite.

What You’ll Do

• Own the full-funnel digital marketing strategy—from awareness through conversion—with a relentless focus on pipeline and revenue impact for Guideline’s B2B product portfolio.

• Manage and optimize a multi-channel paid media budget across Google Ads, LinkedIn, programmatic, and industry-specific platforms relevant to the advertising and media ecosystem.

• Lead SEO/SEM strategy, including keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and technical SEO audits targeting ad-tech and capital markets buyers.

• Develop and manage a fleet of Al agents and autonomous workflows, delivering outcomes that would traditionally require a team many times the size.

• Design and execute email marketing and nurture programs that accelerate leads through the funnel, from media agencies and publishers to institutional investors.

• Partner with Product Marketing and Content to ensure campaigns are supported by compelling, conversion-oriented messaging aligned with Guideline’s positioning in the ad intelligence market.

• Own website conversion rate optimization (CRO), including landing page testing, A/B experimentation, and user journey analysis across guideline.ai.

• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing digital marketing team.

• Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reporting cadences; present results and recommendations to leadership.

• Collaborate with Revenue Operations to ensure seamless lead handoff, attribution modeling, and data integrity across the tech stack.

• Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, algorithm changes, and emerging channels to keep Guideline’s digital presence best-in-class.

What We’re Looking For

• 8–12+ years of experience in B2B digital marketing, with at least 3 years leading a team.

• Proven track record of driving measurable pipeline and revenue through digital channels at a SaaS, data/analytics, or media-technology company.

• Deep expertise in paid media (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads), SEO/SEM, marketing automation (HubSpot, Marketo, or similar), and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau).

• Strong command of attribution modeling, funnel metrics, and marketing-to-sales alignment.

• Experience managing six- or seven-figure annual media budgets with clear ROI accountability.

• Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven decision-making approach.

• Ability to operate at both a strategic and tactical level—equally comfortable presenting to executives and optimizing a campaign in-platform.

• Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative, low-ego working style.

• Experience in the advertising, media, publishing, or ad-tech industry is strongly preferred.
