We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Events & Field Marketing Specialist to lead the strategy and execution of CTM’s event and conference presence.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning, managing, and executing all company-level and partnership events, including large conferences and expos, sponsored events, hosted experiences, webinars, and co-marketing initiatives. You’ll play a key role in shaping how CTM shows up in the market, ensuring we deliver thoughtful, engaging, and competitive event experiences that drive brand awareness, pipeline, and customer growth. You’ll attend events, support internal teams, and continuously evaluate opportunities to improve performance and ROI.
You’ll report directly to the VP of Marketing and work cross-functionally with Sales, and Account Management teams to ensure events are aligned with broader campaign and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end strategy and execution of CTM’s event program, including conferences and trade shows; sponsored events and co-marketing initiatives; hosted events (in-office, regional, or customer-focused); and virtual events such as webinars and training sessions
Develop and execute event strategies that ensure CTM has a strong, competitive presence including booth experience design and engagement strategy; event messaging and positioning; and audience targeting and activation plans
Partner with Sales, Product, and Partnerships to identify and secure speaking opportunities and thought leadership placements
Align event participation with pipeline, customer expansion, and GTM priorities
Plan and manage all event logistics, including travel coordination for internal teams; vendor management and contracts; ordering, shipping, and inventory tracking of booth materials and swag; and on-site setup, execution, and post-event breakdown
Research and evaluate new event opportunities by analyzing audience fit, cost, competitive presence, and impact
Manage event budgets and expenses, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control
Track and report on event performance
Collaborate with Marketing to support pre- and post-event campaigns, including email promotions; paid and organic social content; and landing pages and follow-up sequences
Support and manage webinar and virtual event execution, including scheduling, coordination, and promotion
Continuously improve processes and documentation for event planning, execution, and measurement
What skills will help you be effective on our team?
3+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or conference management, preferably in a B2B SaaS or technology environment
Proven experience planning, executing, and attending events on behalf of a company
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and timelines simultaneously
Experience managing budgets, vendors, contracts, and logistics
Ability to think strategically about event presence, audience engagement, and ROI
Comfortable working cross-functionally
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Data-driven mindset with the ability to evaluate performance and make recommendations
Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, and project management systems (Monday, Asana, etc.)
Willingness to travel (up to ~40%) to support events and on-site execution

The expected salary range for this role may differ based upon the candidate. Salary presented with a job offer will be based on factors such as calibrated job level, educational background, prior work experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
